Over the last two years, Goelali Foundation presents the annual Goelali Children’s Film Festival. The event attracted more than 10,000 crowd in the enjoyment of a week of fun event, fully packed with film screenings, forum discussions, creative activities and workshops for children, parents, teachers and children media practitioners. Now, in 2011, we believe that Goelali Children’s Film Festival is going to be more exciting and we invite all of you to come and enjoy the great fun!

Selama dua tahun terakhir, Yayasan Goelali telah menghadirkan Goelali Children's Film Festival yang berhasil menarik lebih dari 10.000 orang untuk datang dan menikmati minggu yang menyenangkan, yang penuh dengan berbagai aktifitas seperti pemutaran film, forum diskusi, kegiatan kreatif dan workshop untuk anak-anak, orang tua, guru serta praktisi media anak. Sekarang, pada tahun 2011, kami percaya bahwa Goelali Children's Film Festival akan semakin menarik dan kami mengundang semua orang untuk datang dan menikmati!

Goelali Children’s Film Festival aims to offer a platform for children (3-16 years old) to be exposed to the world of films and filmmaking through various creative workshops, allowing children to unleash their creative imagination to the fullest to enjoy the fantasy in films be it from the idea of the story, to the production and finally to viewing it on big screens.

Goelali Children’s Film Festival merupakan sebuah wadah untuk anak-anak berusia 3 – 16 tahun agar mereka bisa mengenal industri perfilman melalui beragam workshop kreatif. Tujuannya adalah agar anak-anak bisa membebaskan pikirannya untuk berimajinasi melalui film, baik dari ide cerita, proses produksi, sampai akhirnya menikmati hasilnya melalui layar lebar.

Goelali Foundation is honoured to have RENATE ZYLLA as the film program advisor for Goelali Children’s Film Festival 2010 and 2011.

Born in 1955 in Bielefeld, Germany, Renate holds a Master of Pedagogy with a concentration in media at the University of Bielefeld. She has professional experience in film and media since 1983 and worked in the film industry as well (casting and childcare for TV productions). She wrote editorial reports about films for departments of family and children’s programming of German TV stations and is an author of media educational material. Since 1991, she is member of national censorship committee about cinema and TV programs.

She starts her festival career in Berlin at the International Film Festival Berlin in 1986. In 1988 she became the director of the Kinder Film Fest of the Berlin International Film Fest and worked in this position till 2002. She was a cunsultant for the Kinder Film Festival Tokyo (1992 – 2002). In 2003 she became the director of Kodomotachino Kinder Film Festival Tokyo. Renate Zylla is a director, organizer, manager of film projects and events and has been a jury member at international film festivals around the world.

Since 2009 she is a festival agent for children and youth films and in 2010 she became a program advisor for international film festivals for children and young adults in: Jakarta (Indonesia), Lucknow (India), Manchester (UK), Montevideo (Uruguay), Nairobi (Kenya), Seattle (USA), Winnipeg (Canada).
